Tennessee Non-Subscriber Program
A growing number of TN government entities have rejected traditional workers comp programs in favor of an OJI program.
This special exemption allows Tennessee Government entities to:
- Remove themselves from the traditional workers’ compensation system, which gives them total control of their programs and the expenses related to them.
- Remove the incentives that plaintiffs’ attorneys use to encourage employees to litigate claims.
- Provide employees with clear, well-defined benefits that provide for lost wages, disability, and medical expenses resulting from a work-related accident.
