Eryn graduated
from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with her B.S. in
Health Policy and Administration with an emphasis on Business.
During her senior
year at Penn State she interned for Pennsylvania National
Insurance as a claims trainee. Her training enabled her to
observe and assist experienced claims adjusters both in the
office and in the field. She analyzed insurance policy
contracts through extensive course work relating to homeowners,
automobile and workers’ compensation and personally handled all
aspects of claims, including investigation, statements and
settlements.
In February 1991,
Eryn was promoted to Claims Representative and was responsible
for the handling of all phases of claims relating to workers’
compensation, property, general liability and automobile in the
states of Tennessee and Alabama.
In April 1992,
Eryn joined Brentwood Services Administrators, Inc. as an
Outside Claims Representative. In this position, she was
responsible for the overall handling of claims for self-insured
clients in Tennessee and Kentucky. Eryn successfully
coordinated with outside vendors to establish a quality provider
network for Brentwood Services Administrators.
In July 1994,
Eryn was promoted to Claim Manager responsible for handling and
monitoring workers’ compensation claims. She manages the staff
of adjusters, the support staff, delegates their workload, and
monitors the performance and professional growth of the staff.
Eryn was promoted
to Regional Claim Manager in July 2001. Her responsibilities
were increased to include oversight and management support of
the Champaign, Illinois claims office.
