Everett Sinor - General Counsel
As General Counsel for Brentwood
Services, Inc., Everett Sinor is responsible for providing
in-house legal services for the company, as well as supervising
and monitoring all litigation. Everett also coordinates and
directs Brentwood Services’ government regulatory efforts.
Everett received his undergraduate
degree in business from the University of Tennessee in
Knoxville, Tennessee in 1991. In 1995, Everett received a
Doctor of Jurisprudence diploma from Mississippi College School
of Law, graduating With Distinction. While at Mississippi
College, Everett served as Casenote Editor of the Mississippi
College Law Review and had a note published entitled The
Belated Demise of Utah Pie.
After
graduating from law school, Everett became an associate in the
Franklin, Tennessee law firm of Petersen, Buerger, Moseley, &
Carson. In 1998, Everett became a staff attorney for the State
of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, handling both
insurance and securities matters. In 1999, Everett became the
Senior Counsel for Insurance for the department, and in 2001,
Everett was named Assistant Commissioner for Insurance by
Commissioner Anne B. Pope. He served in that capacity for two
years before joining Brentwood Services as its first in-house
general counsel in 2003.
