Lisa joined Brentwood Services, Inc. in February 1991 as Account Manager and has progressed to Vice President of Brokerage & Underwriting.  Lisa was the first employee for Brentwood Services, Inc. and was instrumental in assisting the owners in growing the company.  Lisa provides the necessary direction to lead an exceptional underwriting and brokerage department.  Her underwriting departmental staff is responsible for risk selection and analysis to determine the insurance solution for each account. The underwriting department provides policy management and related services to several group self-insured workers compensation programs, three workers compensation insurance carriers and one TX non-subscriber program.  The brokerage departmental staff is responsible for completing and marketing submissions for alternative risk programs for both workers’ compensation, property and casualty coverage lines.

Prior to joining BSI, Lisa was an Assistant Broker in 1990 with R. L. Jarrett, an excess and surplus lines broker in Houston, TX.  Before moving to Texas, Lisa was an Assistant Broker with Gresham & Associates, Inc. from 1985 to 1989.  As an Assistant Broker Lisa was responsible for marketing surplus lines business including excess liability and umbrellas.  Lisa was also involved in underwriting accounts under the MGA agreement Gresham had with Scottsdale Insurance Company.

Lisa began her insurance career with USF&G Insurance Company in 1981.  She was responsible for rating all lines of commercial insurance along with policy set up and statistical coding.

Lisa is currently working toward the Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation with one part left to complete.  She has completed the Insurance Institute of America’s Insurance (INS) program and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) program.  She has earned the Certified Professional Insurance Woman designation (CPIW).  Lisa is a licensed P&C insurance agent.
