Founding Brentwood Services Inc., in 1990, BSI President Richard (Dick) Hammer has built a specialty insurance brokerage firm recognized as a leader in providing customized workers’ compensation programs. Dick’s well-rounded perspective on the insurance needs of his clients was developed from over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. Dick has been instrumental in the design, development and administration of programs for self-insured clients and captive insurance companies.

Prior to founding Brentwood Services, Dick spent 14 years in a number of managerial roles at Corroon & Black (now Willis Corroon). A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Dick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and economics from the University of Minnesota. Dick is a licensed P&C insurance agent.
