BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Feb. 17, 1997—Specialty insurance brokerage firm Brentwood Services Inc. (BSI) recently promoted Ginny B. Moran to the position of technical assistant in the firm’s brokerage department, according to BSI President/Chief Executive Officer Richard D. Hammer.

“Ginny has proven herself to be a great asset to our firm and our clients since joining our team in 1995,”  commented Hammer.  “We are very happy to promote her to a position with more responsibility.”

As a technical assistant, Moran assists the brokerage department in all aspects of account management.  She is responsible for maintaining and organizing databases for membership activity in self-insured funds, acting as a liaison between fund administrators and/or members for the loss control department, and notification of the claim and loss departments of membership activity in self-insurance funds.

Moran’s employment with BSI began in September 1995, when she was hired as claim assistant with the firm’s affiliated company Brentwood Services Administrators.  Prior to joining BSI, Moran’s employment experience included positions with Vanderbilt Temporary Services, Crown Tent and Awning of Nashville and Oak Tree as an assistant manager in the store’s Cool Springs Galleria location.

Moran attended Belmont University, Nashville, where she studied business marketing.  She and her husband David Moran live in Smyrna.
